The Art of Colour And Pattern Harmony
How are you today?
Tuesdays in our blog are all about the art that inspires us and which carries across our pieces.
Today we focus on colour and pattern harmony and on how it will inspire your outfits this season.
As visual experiences go, creating a colour scheme and clashing your own patterns in a way that is pleasing to you is probably as close as you will get to creating your own art.
Harmony isn't all about symmetry or analogy. It is about complimenting. There is beautiful harmony to be achieved in clash.
Whether you go for bold and vibrant colour-blocking, contrasting patterns, or you stick to one basic colour in varying shades (50, if that's your thing ;)), colour holds the key to visual connection and aesthetic pleasure.
This fall/autumn try different colour combinations and do mix earthy colours with bright hues. Go for colours that you wouldn't necessarily put together. Just because the evenings are closing in, it doesn't mean that colour needs to be sacrificed. It is all about season integration - think basic autumn colours meet bright bold summer and soften with pastel pieces.
Be fearless, look super chic.
